![]() ![]() On a different but related note, I'm kinda disappointed in steam support. So my suggestion for you guys is delete that userdata folder also and try to see whether it works or not. If I remember correctly i've tried to do this before but i think i didn't delete the userdata folder. I tried this and now i can proceed to download my games (still in the progress, looks promising). Later, when I realized my mistake, I did indeed put it back - only to find that now Steam would not work again! So, moral of the story: it might be your Userdata folder instead, throw that piece of junk away as well. I forgot to move my Userdata folder back into my Steam folder. It was something in my Userdata folder that was causing the problem! So if I had followed this suggestion perfectly, it would have FAILED. ![]() I followed this advice, and it saved my bacon - Steam is working perfectly again!
